Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and field activities such as tree plantation and waste management drives, participants gained practical skills to lead climate-positive initiatives in their own communities. The program emphasized the role of youth as change-makers, encouraging them to advocate for green policies, adopt eco-friendly habits, and mobilize others towards a more sustainable future. <p>Humanitarian Emergency Trust (HET), in collaboration with <em>We Empower</em>, organized an Awareness Program on Child Rights to educate children, parents, educators, and community members about the legal, social, and moral responsibilities towards safeguarding children&rsquo;s well-being. The program aimed to raise awareness about the fundamental rights of children, including the right to education, protection, healthcare, and a safe environment free from abuse or exploitation.</p>

Each kit contained essential food items such as rice, flour, pulses, sugar, tea, dates, and cooking oil, thoughtfully selected to meet the needs of fasting households. Volunteers and staff members worked with dedication to pack and distribute the kits across various locations, ensuring timely delivery before Iftar. The initiative was aimed at easing the financial burden on struggling families while fostering the spirit of compassion, generosity, and community care that defines the month of Ramzan. This effort reflects HET&rsquo;s commitment to humanitarian service and its mission to stand beside the needy in times of significance and need.</p>

Humanitarian Emergency Trust (HET), in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School Budgam, organized a Drug Awareness Rally to educate the public about the dangers of substance abuse and the urgent need for preventive action. Students, teachers, HET volunteers, and community members actively participated, marching through key areas with banners, placards, and slogans promoting a drug-free society. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the harmful physical, mental, and social consequences of drug addiction, while encouraging youth to adopt healthy and productive lifestyles. Informational leaflets were distributed along the route, and the event received strong support from local residents, reflecting the community&rsquo;s shared commitment to fighting this menace. The initiative reinforced HET&rsquo;s mission of safeguarding the well-being of society and empowering individuals to lead addiction-free lives.</p>
